Yes I know, this ‘New Year’ is already 5 days old now. But there is just such a pressure, writing one of those ‘Year in Review’ or an amazing ‘Welcome to 2015’ posts I couldn’t handle it in the middle of all the serious reflecting and planning at the end of the year. 🙂
But here we go, let’s get it over with:
Bye bye 2014,
you were exhausting, exciting and somehow – over so quickly. It was my first full year living in London. Thank you, 2014, for so many experiences and life lessons, for new opportunities and new people in my life.
I found out that working full-time is not easier than studying, just different and also that living in London will not solve all my problems, it will just change them. I have learned that writing a Blog is a commitment that I am only starting to get used to, but that I love. As I usually tend to change my hobbies every other week I am thankful that you, 2014, gave me the dedication to get better at some of my hobbies and focus on what I really enjoy. You opened my eyes to new worlds, new lifestyles, new ideas. It was a pleasure meeting you and I am sure I will not forget you.
you still sound kind of weird and it will take a while to get used to you. I am looking forward to getting to know you and I am sure we will laugh, cry and learn a lot together. I don’t have any serious ‘New Years Resolutions’ as I am constantly, throughout the year, making new resolutions for myself anyway, so that’s what I will stick to.
